OVER 22+ YEARS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Hello, my name is Kristian. I have been a practising architect for more than 22 years. I studied at both Queens University in Belfast and Oxford Brookes University in England. I am a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Architects Registration Board. I have worked with a number of local architectural firms over the years, accumulating extensive experience on both residential and commercial projects.

I have experience working with a variety of clientele and end users. In the latter years of my employment, I discovered a passion for remodelling and constructing additions to family homes.

I have worked on many extension and renovation projects developing a keen interest in meeting the homeowners, hearing their stories and how they use and live in their homes. I am passionate about the needs of the homeowners and its users and translating this through the re-planning of existing spaces and the creation of new spaces.

This passion and attention to detail was further enhanced when I became a father for the first time. The house we lived in at that time was small, and with the addition of another occupant (my daughter) we quite quickly came to the realisation that we were outgrowing our home. Fuelled with the desire to create more space I set about redesigning the layout, and with the carefully considered addition to the rear and a re-jig of the kitchen we turned a modest 2 bed into a successful 3 bed with a much needed connection to the outdoor space.

Fast forward 4 years and daughter number two was on her way. We were about to face the same problem. So with a further redesign we considered another extension to the house. But on consideration of our options we decided to move with a plan to extend and renovate the new house. 3 years later (and another daughter) the new house was extended, fully renovated inside and out (walls knocked down etc) and we had the house we wanted.
